Best Plant Ltd was established by James Walsh, who started off his career working for Haynes Agricultural Ltd.  It was there that James qualified and completed his apprenticeship as an Agricultural Engineer.

When Haynes Agricultural Ltd moved to a different site, James ventured out on his own as an Agricultural Mechanic.  He then realised there was a gap in the market for himself to hire out plant machinery, as well as maintain his own customers and capitalise on that.  It was then that Best Plant Ltd was born and the company has gone from strength to strength expanding its machinery fleet.

Best Plant Ltd offers most machines for hire on a self-drive basis, however, there are a few items of machinery that must be supplied with a fully trained operator to use them. Furthermore, the company offers a trained operator as an option, to visit your site and operated any hired machines for you.

The company is just in the process of completing the registration of the CPA accreditation scheme, which puts what is essentially a hire agreement into place and it’s a known symbol that is trusted nationwide.
